Due to a limit move in a GSCI component futures contract, the settlement price for the October 2002 GSCI Futures contract
is not yet established. The settlement price will be established as soon as this component settles to a non-limit price.

If a component contract month’s settlement price is limit bid or limit offer at the close of business on the last day of trading
of a contract month, the final settlement price may be deferred up to ten business days. The estimated GI settlement will
be transmitted in both the settlement and summary messages, and will continue daily during the locked limit situation until
a final settlement price is determined. Final settlement once determined will be transmitted in the settlement and summary
messages and will be e-mailed/faxed as well
